Bill 96 imposes new French Language obligations affecting the language of work, business, and communications with clients. Consumers in Québec have the right to be informed and served in French. Therefore, for new clients, the choice of accessing services in English will only be valid with a signed client consent to access service and communications in English. You can access the HCI Client Consent Form in the forms area here of HUBLINK.

While not required for existing clients, it would be a best practice to document consent for existing anglophone clients as you meet with them as well.

Please contact your Regional Compliance Officer if you have any questions regarding this new requirement.
